Christmas

I had prayed that we would all be home for Christmas.  We are....just not in the way I had hoped.  
Thomas is at home in heaven.
We are here celebrating Christmas....and missing our baby.

I was reading the Christmas story from Luke this morning.  I love where it says "the radiance of the Lord's glory surrounded them" (verse 9).  A new friend of mine who lost her baby Samuel two years ago encouraged me to picture a happy and healthy Thomas celebrating Christmas in heaven.  I like to think of him at the feet of Jesus, surrounded by angels and the "radiance of the Lord's glory."

    I like to picture Thomas the same way. Merry Christmas Melissa and TJ. I know it's not how you had hoped, but for Thomas, it's better than any of us can imagine.

    MY heart is with you today as I too picture Thomas sitting in Jesus lap assuring him that His Mom and DAD will be with him one day-- FOR now, may the PEACE of OUR LORD and SAVIOR be with you!!! I love u both !!HUGS!!

    I have been praying for you this season. I'm sure it Is hard when the rest of the world is celebrating to be grieving. I'm still getting all your posts. The promise that "joy comes in the morning" is one I've held on to many times. I pray your "night" won't be long. Parts of your grief will be life long, but it won't always be so raw. Merry Christmas in the radiant light of Saviour-

    Thomas is having a wonderful Christmas. I too wish he was here with you and TJ but it's wonderful to know he's happy and healthy now. Still praying. We lover you!

    BABY THOMAS - I AM SO SORRY THAT I DID NOT GET TO MEET YOU BEFORE YOU LEFT FOR HEAVEN, BUT I KNOW GOD HAD A GOOD REASON FOR YOU TO BE WITH HIM - AND I THINK IT WAS TO KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS "GREAT-GRANDMOTHER LORRAINE" COMPANY - YOU WILL LOVE HER AND SHE WILL LOVE YOU!!
