What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord.....when they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs, where pools of blessing collect after the rains. (Psalm 84:5-6 NLT)

    God could not have picked a better mother or father for Thomas than you guys! He had a mother and father who fought for him daily and loved him more than anything. I can't imagine the pain that you are going through right now. Your faith throughout this journey has been an inspiration to me. We will continue to lift your family up in prayer.

    TJ & Melissa, You have been through a bittersweet ordeal. It was hard to read this blog as we have a child with some terrible health problems as well. But I know your baby knew your love. His pictures are beautiful. You have many good people who will help you heal as much as possible. Peace be with you.

  12. Dr. Behm-

  14. Dear Melissa & TJ,
    Thank you for our beautiful grandson, Thomas. He will live in our hearts forever.
    We are so proud of you for sharing with others your love for him and your faith. We are also proud that you have chosen to SEE God and stand strong together in the midst of your pain. We pray for God to give you peace and rest. We love you! Mom & Dad

    This is our prayer for you:
    I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry.
 He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire;
he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.
 He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will SEE and fear and put their trust in the LORD. Psalm 40:1-3

  16. Dr. Behm,

    You have touched our lives in just the short time our family has known you. As I hold Kayleigh in my arms I weep for your loss. Yet I am touched by your sweet spirit in knowing that our plan is not necessarily God's plan. I can in no way tell you I know how you feel, but we are bathing you in prayers. I pray that you will continue to lean on God as he strengthens you daily. I am sure that Thomas knew your love even in the short time he was here. We will pray for your family and know we love you!!!

    The Griers,
    Jim, Monique, Whitney and Kayleigh
